PAUL SHORTINO Interviewed At NAMM (Video)

February 9, 2012

The Musician Network conducted an interview with legendary hard rock singer Paul Shortino, who has worked with such bands as ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT, and, most recently, KING KOBRA, at the 2012 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 19-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. You can now watch the chat below.

Paul Shortino released "Chasing My Day", his collaboration with renowned producer Michael Voss (CASANOVA, SILVER),on June 26, 2009 via Metal Heaven.

Shortino is a vocal master in the tradition of Paul Rodgers and Robert Plant, two of his all-time heroes. Rich, expressive and bluesy, his intense lead vocals are delivered with the inspired fervor of a true rock 'n' roll believer. And that he is, as proved quite consistently over the last two decades with a diverse string of independent projects.

Shortino has been making music as long as he can remember, and has more than seen his fair share of the dramatic ups and downs of the industry. Having the chance to so memorably spoof the rock 'n' roll circus is priceless to him, albeit at the time he played Duke Fame, he was just coming into his own considerable spotlight.
